Jim's Bio


Over 65 of Jim McDonough's erotic stories have been published on the web, in more than a dozen dirty magazines and in anthologies such as Quickies, Nature in the Raw, Droom Jongens, Latin Boys and Saints & Sinners. His most recent publications are in the anthologies Men, Amplified and Friction 7: Best Gay Erotica, both of which were released in early 2004. A short film from his screenplay, Waiting For the Ball to Drop, based on a story originally published in Quickies will make it's world premiere at Frameline 28: The San Francisco Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival in June 2004 The film was produced and directed by Tim Eicher and stars Bob Brindley, Dan Renzi and Sameul Child. Jim is currently working on a novel using the characters from Waiting for the Ball to Drop. He also serves as President of Lavender Writes, a South Florida gay & lesbian writer's organization. In his spare time he is also webmaster of the GLBT writer's resource QueerWriters.com and Jim writes on a regular basis for GaySouthFLorida.com's The Weekly News.
